In the fast-paced world of workplace conflict, it can be hard to find time — and safe space — to step back, reflect, and connect with others doing similar work. Whether you’re mediating team tensions, investigating complaints, supporting leaders as a coach, or managing internal HR processes, this group is for you. It’s designed to bring together a diverse community of professionals working at the frontline of workplace conflict — mediators, investigators, consultants, HR managers, coaches, and more.

What is the purpose of the group?

This is not a training. It’s not a webinar. It’s something richer — a monthly space for reflective practice, peer support, and real-time discussion about the complex and changing world of workplace conflict. Together, we’ll explore questions like:

What are we noticing in workplace conflict right now?

How are organisations responding to conflict — and where are the gaps?

What ethical or practical dilemmas are we sitting with?

How do we take care of ourselves and stay grounded in the work?

Each session will also allow time for peer debriefing, topical issue exploration, and cross-sector insights, so you can draw on the experience of others — and contribute your own.

Who is it for?

This group is for both seasoned professionals and those newer to the field who want to think more deeply about their practice and expand their network.

You might be:

An external consultant or mediator who misses having a team to talk things through with

A solo HR manager navigating organisational change and internal tensions

A coach supporting clients dealing with conflict at work

An experienced investigator reflecting on complex cases and changing expectations

If workplace conflict is part of your professional world, you’re welcome.

How do sessions work?

The group will meet monthly via Zoom, for two hours per session. To make it accessible across schedules, we’re alternating meeting times:

Morning sessions (8am-10am Sydney time)

Lunchtime session (12–2pm Sydney time)

Late afternoon session (5–7pm Sydney time)

Each session will be facilitated by experienced conflict practitioners and occasional special guests — who bring decades of experience across mediation, coaching, investigation, and organisational conflict resolution.
